Fernando Zuluaga – Broker and Property Manager
Fernando started with DKD Associates, Inc. when he retired from the military in 1997. He is now the Broker/Owner of DKD Associates, Inc. Because of his almost 20 years of military service, he and Yvette are aware of the special circumstances a military family deals with when finding rentals, buying or selling their home. Fernando is not only Broker and property manager of DKD Associates, Inc., he is also certified Real Estate instructor for the state of Texas. With all his State training, he is always up-to-date on the latest news and information concerning the Real Estate market. He is dedicated to getting your home rented or sold in the most efficient way possible.
Yvette Zuluaga – Realtor and Property Manager
Yvette has worked in the real estate business and has been with DKD Associates, Inc. since 1989. In 1989 she started working with her father-in-law, James Henderson, who founded DKD Associates. Since 1997, Yvette and Fernando together as the “Z-Team” have grown the company to what it is today. As Realtor/Owner of the company, Yvette has excellent knowledge of both the Real Estate market as a Realtor (listing and selling) and property management market (leasing and contracts). As Office manager, she oversees the day to day operation of the company.
Susana Alvarado – Administrative Assistant
Susana has been with the company since 2004. As a loyal and honest employee, she has become Fernando’s right-hand person. Susana handles the day-to-day business concerns of the company whether it is accepting rental payments, marketing changes, and handling maintenance requests. She is friendly, here to greet you as soon as you walk in the door, and popular with the tenants and owners.
Mary Lou Montes – Financial Office Bookkeeper
Mary Lou started working with DKD Associates, Inc. in 2007. She is hard-working and a very loyal employee who shows that she cares about her job and the company. Mary Lou is very meticulous and great with the day to day bookkeeping and organization for our office.
Sahara Murga – Account Manager
Sahara has been an employee with DKD Associates, Inc. since 2009. She started with DKD Associates, Inc. after graduating Summa Cum Laude at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). She has brought new and innovative ideas to DKD Associates, Inc. She has launched us into a new property management software called Appfolio. As account manager, she oversees the everyday accounting of all owners and tenants accounts. With her degree in Business Administration, she has been a great asset to the company implementing new technology and ideas to carry us forward and keep us updated with the latest business trends.
Hector Montes – Property Evaluator
Hector has been a property evaluator with DKD Associates, Inc. since 2011. Home inspections are imperative in this business. Hector is dedicated to making sure all properties have been inspected, whether it is move-in inspections or routine inspections.
Monica Munoz – Maintenance Coordinator
Monica is new to the company. She handles all maintenance and internet inquiries that come into the office. We are excited to introduce her and welcome her to our DKD family.
